Performers of every age, stage, and genre are welcome to join us on 4th Fridays to share your talents at our Open Mic…
Each performer will have ten minutes to share their open mic talents. There will be a BRIEF interlude between acts for transition, but we want to have as many people share as possible, so please be mindful of your time. If we don't have enough people to fill all the time on a particular 4th Friday, then everyone who performs will be given extra time.
Please arrive a few minutes early so we you can get comfortable in the space, grab a snack or a beverage, and meet the others that are here performing or listening.
Please keep your performances family-friendly. We are working hard to encourage families to bring children to these events. So, if what you'd like to perform isn't appropriate for sixth-grade children, please find another something to perform.
Children in 6th grade, and older, are welcome to participate as performers!
If you are going to perform music, please keep it «unplugged». We understand that some instruments like bass and keyboards may require *quiet* amplifiers; but we don't want to offend our neighbors with unreasonable volumes. Also, extensive instruments like full drum kits, etc, are too timely to clear in between acts, and we've only got two to three hours. So, keep it simple, please.
If your performance is theatrical in nature, small group performances are welcomed. Just remember that, again, we only have a limited amount of space and time, so extensive costume changes or props may not work well in our venue.
We look forward to having you visit our mic!
Children are encouraged to attend with a responsible adult.
